Boosting and taking care of our immune system is the key to healing!

Boosting and taking care of our immune system is the key to healing! We can help control that by what we eat, vitamins/supplements, positive thinking etc. When someone is not doing these things to help themselves, they really shouldn't wonder why they don't feel better. Its ok if you have a bad day and eat something you shouldn't, but very important to get back on track as soon as you can. it can take days or longer for our bodies to rid gluten, which is a huge inflammation and pain trigger. So remember that the next time you reach for the bread, pancakes, pizza etc that is full of gluten. Be proactive and read packaging, you will be surprised to see what gluten is in, even health and beauty aids! Your body has a built-in mechanism for self-healing. To optimize the power of self-healing, keep your immune system healthy and functional. An efficient immune system holds the key to self-healing.

"UW-Eau Claire biology professor Lloyd Turtinen turned one encounter with a tiny tick into a five-year faculty-student research project examining Lyme disease and the ticks that spread it."

"The researchers conducted a DNA analysis on 341 adult female deer ticks collected from 21 counties in Wisconsin during 2010-13, with results showing an average of 35 percent of the ticks testing positive for the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, which causes Lyme disease. The counties with the highest infected tick prevalence rates were Chippewa (66.7 percent), Dunn (44.4 percent) and Eau Claire (36.5 percent) counties."

When he was admitted to hospital after paralysis he was sure he had Lyme disease

In autumn 2007 the superior of Feiringklinikken placed for examination at our hospital after waking without feeling in his legs. - I had a tick bite on Tromøya, but since there was no red ring around the bite site I figured that I would not get sick , says Golf.

When he was admitted to hospital after paralysis he was sure he had Lyme disease. Test of blood and spinal cord showed no signs of disease. - So I went to a colleague at Vestfold Hospital where I took three tests, all of which confirmed that I had Lyme disease, says Golf. He took up the treatment with antibiotics was interrupted by the negative findings at Ullevål. - If I had relied on tests at our hospital, I had probably been disabled today, said Dr. Svein Golf. - Chronic pain he react to the random detection of the serious disease borreliosis in Norway.
In Norway there are in fact no standard for how to take samples in patients, no standard for how to test these samples, and no standard treatment for the disease. Professionals VG has spoken to say straight out that it is almost random who are diagnosed with the disease, and that there are just under 20 different tests can give different results. Thus, it is also conceivable that Ullevål detect Lyme disease in patients who are declared fit for disease at other hospitals.
Chief Svein Golf is back in full work at Feiringklinikken but feel the problems of detection of Lyme disease in the body every day. - I have chronic pain acidify existence, and is slightly bitter at myself because I did not understand what was wrong, he said. autumn of 2008 he took new samples and got the same result: Vestfold Hospital confirmed Lyme disease, Ullevål University Hospital disproved disease. - It was a real eye opener. I do not want to be collegial or ufin in any way. But if our hospitals do not adhere to good enough tests on such a serious disease begins to recall a scandal, says Golf.
Looking at the matter Directorate of Health will consider whether there is a need for standardization in dealing with Lyme disease. Secretary Anne Kari Lande Hasle of Health and Care Services says that communities in general are quick to comply with gold standards, but that the Health Directorate must clean up if it is so coincidences decide who gets proven a serious illness. - When communities do not find this out yourself , the Health Directorate on the court. They will now look into this matter, Hasle says to VG. -
Difficult to detect - There is plenty to be done to detect Lyme disease, says Vivian Kjellandshagen who writes thesis on ticks and Lyme disease bacterium at the University of Agder. - There are three different Borrelia bacteria known to cause serious illness. They are easiest to detect associated with skin disorders and symptoms in the joints. We have most probably by a bacterium that is associated with the nervous system, and it is very difficult to prove, says Kjellandshage

"Blood test may give a false answer, says Anders Bredberg, physician at the Department of Clinical Microbiology at Univesitetssykehuset MAS in Malmö. He is one of several scientists who are now working to bring a new and more reliable test to detect Lyme Borreliosis in time. With the new method, the patient's lymph nodes examined for a more accurate result. Earliest a year scientists expect the method to be applied."

In the news today in Germany: the Lyme situation strongly marked out by green politician using the Kleine Anfrage procedure...

By the Small request "Lyme disease in Thuringia" (Drs. 5/6376) wanted Anja Win mouth, education health policy spokesperson for the alliance green Landtagsfraktion, further details of the state government. This is the alliance green health politician that "Lyme disease is a multi-faceted disease with various symptoms. However, the state government fails to recognize the complexity of the disease. This has the answer to our request for a critical examination of the reporting criteria for Lyme disease been missed.

When new infections only 50 percent of those affected have a so-called rash. However, this is an essential diagnostic and reporting criteria. Thus, many new cases of Lyme disease are not recognized or recorded.

In chronic cases, according to recent studies, only three out of ten cases actually diagnosed and treated. This has to change! Ignorance and inaction of the state government to go here is clearly to the detriment of patients.

In addition, it must be clear that a statistic is not yet the Sorcerer's Stone alone, continues the Greens politician. "Despite numerous Lyme disease in Thuringia, the state government sees no deficits in the comprehensive medical care of patients. However, the experiences of victims and support groups speak a different language.

Although doctors are trying, but increasingly overwhelmed due to the wide range of symptoms. Prevention, research, therapy and treatment of disease must be taken by the State finally seriously and strengthened. It is particularly important to establish in Thuringia disease specialist clinics, which operate according to the guidelines of the German Borreliosis Society The allocation of state funds to focus funding in the field disease and the development of an overall concept for the improvement of statistics, diagnosis and treatment of disease are essential. "

Tiques et bactéries de Lyme : un bénéfice réciproque

http://www.pourlascience.fr/ewb_pages/a/actualite-tiques-et-bacteries-de-lyme-un-benefice-reciproque-32073.php

The denial of chronic Lyme disease is the biggest International medical disgrace of all time affecting Millions around the World.

 From Joanne

The denial of chronic Lyme disease is the biggest International medical disgrace of all time affecting Millions around the World.

Denied by the small number of authors who wrote the IDSA Lyme disease Guidelines and yet several of them accept Chronic Lyme disease, persistent infection and unreliable testing when they apply for a patent for vaccines.
Ben Luft NIH researcher of 25 years with this organism says Lyme Disease is a relapsing disease.http://www.tvworldwide.com/events/iom/101011/
Steven Barthold NIH researcher of 25 years with this organism says '100% of animals remain infected after antibiotics--- described as debris but it is often metabolically viable organisms.

12 months after treatment we see widescale prevalence of spirochetes but it remains to be determined the role of this persistence --not everyone is showing symptoms.

Biofilms - universal mechanism for bacteria, virus and fungus throughout the world for microbial communities. Borrelia - persistent infection --- reduction in host/animal ( with antibiotics?)- go dormant (not necessarily in bio film) - antibiotics can't touch.

If you just enlarge the pot of funding, and you award the money to the same old school club of people who feed off Lyme disease, we won't get anywhere. If NIH is willing, they should put out a call for applications [for research] that is more focussed on biology.'
http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/24058724

Thanks to those who advocate to raise awareness of this disease I was able to be treated on long term antibiotics and have my health and life back.
