FLORIDA: "A Florida man who allegedly crashed his car in Guilford, climbed into a nearby resident's bed and then assaulted that resident with a knife suffers from severe Lyme disease that has affected his mental health, court documents show."
"A police affidavit says 47-year-old Timothy Kolendo's mother told an investigator that her son was "a mess" just prior to the bizarre string of incidents Wednesday morning in Guilford."
"The mother told Vermont State Police that Kolendo's symptoms "mainly include immune-system and mental-health issues; he experiences confusion and extreme paranoia," according to the affidavit filed in Windham Superior Court Criminal Division."
