TORTURED BY LIGHT due to Lyme disease
Many people with Lyme disease suffer severe light sensitivity. For some it is so bad they are confined to their home. Dark shades pulled down over windows, dim or no lighting. Often they stay to one room and wear sunglasses or a peaked cap indoors to shield their eyes from any drop of painful light. Even a crack in an open doorway, allowing light to penetrate through can cause some people severe debilitation. The neurological aspects of this disease and the many ways it manifests completely take over someone's life. It is debilitating, torturous and isolating. Yet, chronic Lyme disease is not acknowledged by the CDC or governments around the world. For this reason people are denied the care and treatment needed to get well. ‪#‎LIME4LYME‬ ‪#‎CURETHECDC‬ May is Lyme disease awareness month.
