Texans with Lyme/Tick Borne diseases would like Dr. Halperin and his mis-informed IDSA collaborators to know that they are wrong. The tests are only 50% accurate. Meningitis is serious. Co-infections should be evaluated and treated. Dr. Halperin and his IDSA friends deny care daily to sick patients instead of alleviating their suffering. The science is all there for anyone willing to see it.
In Texas we have thousands of patients and a handful of docs who are putting their license on the line in order to do the right thing-trying to return them to health. Thank you Katie Couric for shining a brief light on this travesty in our country. Please keep going and keep investigating.
