After seeking alternate forms of treatment for his Lyme disease, lobbyist and assistant Cumberland County manager Bill Whitten of Maine has voiced his support for LD 422, a bill in his state that, if passed by the state legislator, would guarantee the protection of doctor's administering longterm antibiotics to patients suffering from chronic Lyme disease.
