Here's a fantastic new interview with famous Lyme disease pathologist Dr. Alan MacDonald that aired Sunday on the In Short Order Show. Among other things, Dr. MacDonald describes the problems with the current test methods which use only one strain of Lyme bacteria. (Remember, scientists have identified more unique Lyme borrelia strains in the Southeastern USA than in any other region of the country. Because current tests only look for one strain, a negative Lyme test cannot rule out Lyme disease.)
