Grâce à un post Facebook, une maman a pu identifier l’origine des boutons de son petit garçon. Celui-ci présentait en effet des taches rouges caractéristiques de la maladie de Lyme, transmise par les tiques.

Does a Canine Lyme Vaccine Elicit a Response in Horses?
A veterinary student at Western University of Health Sciences, in Pomona, California, and colleagues recently evaluated how 42 healthy horses’ bodies reacted after being vaccinated with the canine product. Horses, like humans and dogs, are incidental dead-end hosts.
Researchers found that vaccination with the currently available canine product could offer some protection for horses.

Irrefutable facts about Lyme, John Caudwell

Part of my interview for sky news last week about #lyme
Irrefutable facts about Lyme
●It is often a chronic condition that
destroys lives.
●it is substantially and tragically undiagnosed/misdiagnosed ignored and neglected
●Some of the great research seems to be ignored/suppressed for whatever reason!
●There are many false negatives from many labs incuding the nhs
●The incidence of Chronic Lyme is way higher than anybody raises or
accepts: my family had no diagnosis until recently. Now 9 out of 9 of us
have it. What does that tell the nhs? Pure fluke or epidemic?
●Many people with #ms #me #als #fybromyalgia #autism #alzeimers #cfs have Lyme disease and Co
This illness is probably the greatest threat to public health of our
time and certainly the most serious illness to be so badly ignored and
denied!
Unless there is a massive change in attitude, people in
government and in our health services will in years to come regret their
position on this and will have to live with their guilty consciences.
I hope those with a dogmatic approach, those whose pride is at stake
those who may have a vested interest in Lyme denial will change their
attitude and open their minds to pull together and save huge human
suffering!

commitment to patient-centered practice
About John Drulle, M.D. (from http://www.johndrullelymefund.org/)
If one could imagine a physician stepping out of a Norman Rockwell painting to spend all the quality time needed with you, with his attention focused totally on your symptoms, questions and fears, that physician would likely be the late John Drulle, M.D. Decades ago, when scholarly physicians were diligently discovering the Lyme bacteria and naming the disease, he was among the first handful of doctors on the frontlines of actually treating the condition. In the early days of Lyme disease, testing procedures and results were unreliable at best. That’s why John used the most sophisticated of devices available to diagnose and treat the condition – his ears. He would take all the time needed to hear a patient out, as there was a close relationship between close listening and appropriate diagnosis and treatment. Because protocols were uncertain, he would never give a patient a medicine unless he tried it on himself first, because he himself was infected with Lyme as well as other tick-borne diseases. To say his practice was patient-centered is an understatement – he would go so far as to pick up prescriptions and deliver them to a patient’s house when they were too sick to do so themselves. Even when he himself was battling chronic fatigue and pain, he kept a positive outlook and sense of humor. John Drulle was truly a blessing to all who knew him until he succumbed to Lyme disease and an untimely death in 2003.
