This thread will contain evidence from current work that suggests to us that Borrelia is in the blood & that it is not insane to consider we use microscopy to detect it. Some may show more quantities of spirochetes than others, whilst others will have such small quantities that it is difficult/impossible to detect.

Many physicians who care for patients with Lyme disease and who have followed the decades long debate on appropriate diagnosis and treatment agree that a new approach is needed.1
Numerous scientific papers have shown that the two tiered testing strategy for diagnosing Borrelia burgdorferimisses a large proportion of cases.2 This approach cannot diagnose new species of borrelia, including B miyamotoi and B burgdorferi sensu lato, which are also known to cause chronic illness.3 4 Persistence of borrelia has also been recently reported by Johns Hopkins researchers, and mechanisms of persistence have included immune evasion and formation of biofilms. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently reported a 320% increase in the number of Lyme cases over the past two decades,5 so without a fundamental shift in the medical paradigm that we use to diagnose and treat Lyme disease the number of people chronically disabled from this illness will greatly increase.

Il n'y a pas de petits dons. Aurélie a la maladie de lyme et souffre énormément. Elle ne peut en effet sortir de son lit, chaque jour est une épreuve, c'est une vraie battante!
La cagnotte l'aidera à payer ses soins qui coûtent très cher car pour la plupart non reconnus....Je répète, il n'y a pas de petits dons, lyme est une maladie qui fait énormément souffrir et aux multiples symptômes, aidez-nous, aidez là!!!

reference to note is the Girschick reference showing intracellular
persistence of Bb inside synovial cells. Back in 1996 the ridiculous
debate of whether Bb could be intracellular was still raging on. The
nay-sayers stuck to their guns and ignored the mounting evidence. The
medical community ignored intracellular possibilities perhaps because
most intracellular diseases were either incurable, or difficult to
detect and treat. (Leprosy, TB, Malaria,
Toxoplasmosis, then add to this that Borrelia infections have the
motility of the Syphilis spirochete!) The medical experts at the time
treated Lyme dies like it was a simple sore throat and not for the
deadly pathogen it was. Two weeks of doxycycline was the recommended
treatment. Now exactly 20 years later our experts are just as
belligerent and blind. The treatment protocols are essentially
unchanged. How does this happen in Modern Medicine? Now the debate is
whether Borreliosis can cause Dementia. The evidence is overwhelming but
the response by our experts is the same as it was in 1903 when they
doubted that Syphilis could cause Dementia. That argument was settled in
1913 when brain pathology of Syphilis patients that developed Dementia
showed spirochetes in the brain. They showed both Cause and Effect.
TOUCHED BY LYME: Recovery is a long, slow, balancing act

is no magic secret. There is no set protocol for treating tick-borne
diseases, because every case is different. Variables such as duration of
infection without treatment, spread of
infection to different areas of the body and brain, and presence of
