A case of meningoencephalitis by the relapsing fever spirochaete Borrelia miyamotoi in Europe (Netherlands)
It caused symptoms exactly like Lyme - they didn't find it by the antibody tests - oh no, they had to use dark field microscopy and DNA identification.
Which is the diagnostic method that all suspected Lyme patients should have - we too could have myamotoi infections !
