Can Deer Management Help Control Ticks and Tick-borne Diseases?


A Scottish study has confirmed that more deer result in more ticks, and that deer management can be used for controlling ticks. Excluding deer using high quality fencing or long-term intensive culling management result in similarly dramatic reductions in low tick abundance.
