When the doctor says, “the only treatment is the IDSA short term
treatment,” you can say, “actually do you know that this restriction of
treatment options is considered a human
rights abuse, and this particular human rights abuse against Lyme
patients is on record with the United Nations?” And then I suggest you
report the doctor if they do not allow to you to choose among treatment
options. Report this violation of your human rights to the medical
board, local media, the department of justice and your elected
officials.
