Lyme and tick-borne disease forum to be held April 10

"A forum to educate the public about the latest scientific insights and efforts to prevent and treat tick-borne diseases, including Lyme disease, will be held April 10 at 7 p.m. at Dover Town Hall. The event is being organized by the Board of Health’s Lyme Disease Committee, formed to try and find ways to reduce the instances of tick-borne diseases in town. Tufts University professor Sam Telford will discuss ecology and management of tick-borne diseases, and Dr. Sam Donta, a specialist in infectious disease, will discuss symptoms and treatment of Lyme and tick-borne diseases. Time will be provided for questions from the audience, and educational materials will be provided."
