“Children and Lyme Disease:
What Everyone Should Know!”
Presented by Lyme Alliance of the Berkshires
Hosted by Berkshire South Regional Community Center
An educational panel about Lyme Disease and its effect on children; its signs and symptoms, issues with diagnosis and treatment, as well as its related illnesses (co-infections) and important information about prevention measures families, schools and the community at large can take to prevent infection and/or catch it early to halt infection.
The goal of this event is to provide parents/families and anyone that works with children with the tools to help them approach America’s fastest growing infectious disease from an educated and prepared perspective.
A Q & A will follow after the panel has made their presentations.
