From Georgia Lyme Disease Association: "New research: Scientists use "state-of-the-art in vivo imaging technologies" to illuminate the mechanisms of interaction of Lyme disease bacteria with the host. Their work shows how these organisms use multiple adhesive surface proteins to recognize and infect diverse hosts and cell types.
