Man Bikes Across Country To Fund Lyme Disease Research
"A young man from Madison, New Jersey has been fighting Lyme disease since he was nine years old. Now, 24-year-old John Donnally is cycling across the country to spread the word and fight for a cure. It's called "Bite Back For A Cure."
"Mike Jerrick talked to John Donnally today as he arrived in Philadelphia. John has gone more than 3,500 miles. He started at the Golden Gate Bridge and today is Day 56. He has 150 miles left of his cross-country journey."
"I've been pretty tired, but it's been easy to stay inspired," Donnally said. "I've been meeting with lots of Lyme Disease patients along the way, and they've been so well supportive."
