Templestowe vet warns dog owners to look out for paralysis tick
"Dr Julian Alexander, owner of Templestowe Veterinary Practice, said the paralysis tick - a deadly insect found along the country's eastern coast - could kill if left untreated. Dr Alexander said he recently removed a tick from Shiraz, an eight-year-old bernese mountain dog, who started showing signs of paralysis 10 days after visiting Gippsland with owner Lyn Miles."
