Rabbits are immune to some of the tick-borne pathogens that affect people, in particular #Lymedisease.
In a new study, rabbits successfully cleared Lyme disease bacterial
infections within 12 weeks. Also, their antibodies reduce Lyme arthritis
in mice. Rabbit antibodies may point the way for better treatments in
humans, including possible preventative treatments.
