e Disease can be contracted anywhere in the UK although not all ticks will be infected with Borrelia (Lyme Disease) it is difficult to know if they are. Ticks are a cesspit of infection and can pass along other infections which can cause health problems to humans sometimes even more than one species or strain of Borrelia which can work together causing a more difficult illness to treat.
