HAND CLAWING & TICK-BORNE INFECTIONS

HAND CLAWING & TICK-BORNE INFECTIONS
When symptoms appear neurological… consider infection.🦠
When the small stabilizing muscles in the hand weaken, stronger flexors overpower which trigger the fingers to curl inward.
❓️Why❓️
~Borrelia (Lyme) causes nerve-root inflammation + neuritis
🦠Bartonella causes microvascular + small-fiber nerve irritation
🩸Babesia causes oxygen impairment + energy crash
Different triggers.
Same pathway 🟰 nerve imbalance.
That’s why if some presents with
❌️progressive weakness
❌️ visible muscle loss
❌️ worsening clawing
They should immediately be properly evaluated for tickborne infections by an ILADS trained Physician
🧪 Testing limitations matter.
🚩 The Current CDC two-tier #Lyme disease testing is missing over 50% of actual positive cases.
🚩The Western Blot is only screening for ONE species of Borrelia (lyme) and there are many that infect humans.
🚩 A standard Lyme disease test does not test for any co infections including Bartonella and Babesia
🚩 Each co infection has multiple species- which are not being screened for
🚩#Borrelia, #Bartonella, and #Babesia can all produce false negatives because they
●hide in tissues or inside cells
●circulate at low or fluctuating levels
● trigger weak/variable antibody responses
TO BE PROPERLY EVALUATED FOR TICK-BORNE INFECTIONS YOU MUST BE PROPERLY EVALUATED BY AN ILADS TRAINED PHYSICIAN
#ILADS = International Lyme and Associated Disease Society. This type of dr offers blood testing for all species of Borrelia ( lyme) and coinfections. They also recieve upto date education on detecting and treatment of these infections
If your hands are clawing and the only discussion is #ALS or #MS
Infections should at least be considered.......
