Waking up soaked at night?
This bloodborne parasite could be the reason… and most people don’t even know they have it

#Babesia is a malaria-like parasite that infects your red blood cells.
Once inside, it:

Replicates and ruptures red blood cells

Reduces your body’s ability to carry oxygen

Triggers inflammation (IL-6, TNF-α)

Disrupts temperature regulation in the brain

This can lead to:

Drenching night sweats

Air hunger / shortness of breath

Head pressure

Severe fatigue

Temperature dysregulation

Most people are never properly tested.
Babesia is notoriously missed:

Low levels in the blood makes it extremely hard to detect

Blood smears often miss it

PCR isn’t always reliable

Antibody tests can be negative in chronic cases

Many species are not even included in standard tests

A negative test does NOT rule it out.

Babesia isn’t rare… it’s just rarely detected.

And don’t stop there- coinfections like Borrelia (lyme) and Bartonella can sometimes cause night sweats alone ( more common in Babesia)
When multiple infections are present-- Symptoms amplify

Mold toxicity can drive many of these same symptoms and is often overlooked. It should always be part of the investigation.
