IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY’S LYME DISEASE RESEARCH!

You can now help Texas A&M researcher, Maria Esteve-Gassent, in her research studying Lyme Ecology in Texas! Maria is collecting and testing ticks all over Texas in an effort to study how the pathogen is maintained in nature and where the hot spots for Lyme are in Texas. Not only will this research establish that THERE IS LYME IN TEXAS, but it will put in motion informational campaigns to prevent the disease in Texans. Maria has already been instrumental in putting together a Lyme exhibit that is now on view at the George Bush Library and Museum in College Station, Texas. Please follow the instructions below to donate directly to Maria’s research fund. Donations can be submitted online through Texas A&M or by mail.
