"STONE RIDGE — A New York City forum focusing on tick-borne diseases will be simulcast at Ulster County Community College Monday morning.
The forum is titled "Tick-Borne Diseases: A Public Health Crisis."
It is being led by Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-NY, U.S. Rep. Chris Gibson, R-Kinderhook, and Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn.
It seeks to increase public awareness about the impact of tick-borne diseases, including Lyme. It will be held Monday at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City.

-- John McPherson, a nationally syndicated cartoonist, creator of the “Close to Home” comic and a patient advocate.

The forum will be simulcast beginning at 10:15 a.m. Monday at the College Lounge in Vanderlyn Hall at Ulster County Community College, 491 Cottekill Road in Stone Ridge.
